This building built in 1684 is considered one of the most beautiful buildings in the city. At the foot of the Kasbah Museum, it shares its foundations with the York Castle. The palace can be seen from a great distance and enjoys a breathtaking view of the bay of Tangier. Its garden planted with trees is very pleasant and it becomes the place of very appreciated parties given by the owner of the place. With foresight, the pasha Ali installed his palace in such a way as to be able to surprise foreign invasion attempts, and especially to flee more quickly in case of defeat.
