Majid, the kid who earned 5 dirhams in the late 60's by emptying ashtrays at Barbara Hutton's parties, has grown up. He is now the star antique dealer of Tangier. For 50 years, the emblematic Abdelmajid Rais El Fenni has been crisscrossing Morocco and the Sahara to hunt for sumptuous antiques. He stores in his marvelous hodgepodge the most beautiful textiles, carpets, jewelry and ceramics. Mick Jagger or Catherine Deneuve were not mistaken when they came to Tangier, they also made a stop at Majid's. His den can be visited like a museum.
