Baie Orientale (Orient Bay), or "B.0" to its friends, is located in the northeast of Saint-Martin. Often compared to Saint-Tropez, it is first and foremost a residential and tourist district with a Community Gate feel (access is via a gate, closed at night). It's also a village, with a square surrounded by shops and restaurants reminiscent of the South of France. But above all, it's a long white sandy beach lined with bohemian-chic beach bars, where the turquoise waters exposed to the trade winds are rarely calm and therefore ideal for surfing. It's also a lively place in the evening, when the DJs of the day give way to musicians.
