A good table recognized on the island. The cuisine marvelously combines the great French specialties with the mixed flavors of the Caribbean, with the added bonus of a very nice selection of wines. The variation of the menu offers a choice of risottos, fish or the unavoidable lasagna with foie gras. Meat lovers will be delighted with the beef cheek. The address is also known for its lobster menu. Connoisseurs will be pleased to associate a wine with each delicate dish. A very good compromise of West Indian and French gastronomy.

Overlooking the boulevard de Grand-Case, yet intimate, the establishment has been run by two brothers, Amaury and Thibault, since 1994. The menu is minimalist, reflecting the freshness of the products (fish, lobster chosen directly from the aquarium, seafood, etc.) cooked to perfection. The bouillabaisse-style fisherman's plate, the lobster thermidor or the duo of grilled salmon with basil butter are a real treat and a tribute to seafood. The service is impeccable. One of the best restaurants on the island.

Grand-Case's lolos are renowned for their generous plates and consistent produce. Sky's the Limit, on the street side, is always busy with locals, some of whom prefer to take away. On the premises, opt for the hearty mixed plates: green salad, tomato rice, spaghetti, coleslaw, plantain, and barbecued chicken, ribs or fish. In the open air, you're likely to get a little smoke in the wind, but it's a typical place to try. It's also a good opportunity to try Johnny Cake.

Fred, François and the whole Captain Frenchy team welcome you every day, toes in the sand, on Grand-Case Bay. A must for a relaxing day in the shade of an umbrella, lounging comfortably on a deckchair (or on the terrace deck) and enjoying delicious lunches and dinners with the sea as your only horizon. You can also enjoy a cocktail, especially at sunset. It's also the place to party, with the famous Sunday beach party and Thursday karaoke evenings.

Le Java is the latest addition to Grande-Case, opening in spring 2022 in place of Barranco. Completely renovated and very elegant, the large terrace overlooking is naturally ventilated. Le Java has perhaps one of the best views of Grande-Case beach: at sunset, the panorama is breathtaking. In the kitchen, Mediterranean specialties are revisited with brio by the chef: scallops seared to perfection, melting roast octopus, vegetarian risotto, etc. Service is efficient and friendly.
