MARINA PORT LA ROYALE

Marina Royale suffered severe damage during the passage of Irma. Anchoring there has been prohibited since September 6, 2017, and the date of its reopening has yet to be announced. Boaters are invited to head for the Fort Louis marina, Marigot Bay or Simpson Bay lagoon, whose wrecks have been removed. Restaurateurs and shopkeepers are trying to keep this marina, once one of Saint-Martin's most popular, afloat. The quays have been renovated and are now inviting to stroll around.
