On the other side of the lake, we discover the village of Koloza and the electrical installations adjacent to the dam. Here, you'll also find the homes of the technicians and engineers who maintain the reservoir and generate the electricity. Koloza benefits greatly from its privileged location on the shores of the lake. The village is very green, with palm trees, banana plantations and food crops. Downstream from the dam, the entire valley benefits from the presence of the dam and its artificial lake, so useful for irrigation. From Koloza, it takes around 20 minutes to reach Dourbeye and the asphalt.
