In 2022, the Africa Stand-up association, headed by comedian Valery Ndongo, inaugurated a unique cultural space: the Valery Ndongo COMEDY CLUB . Located in Yaoundé's Etoa-Meki district, the club has quickly become a must for fans of stand-up and comedy shows. Every Friday and Saturday from 7pm, audiences discover new stand-up talents as well as established comedians.

The Valery Ndongo COMEDY CLUB, with its bar and restaurant specializing in grilled meats (chicken, sausages, kebabs), offers a friendly atmosphere for both entertainment and food. Created in 2023 by Valery Ndongo , the venue is decorated with murals depicting icons of African humor, offering total immersion in the world of stand-up comedy in Africa .

The club is part of the Africa Stand-up initiative and the Pan-African Stand-up Academy, which has been training stand-up comedians since 2010. In December 2024, the Valery Ndongo COMEDY CLUB will celebrate its second anniversary with a mini-tour of shows between Yaoundé and Douala, marking the occasion with a series of exceptional events.
