NDEMVO'H CAVES

On the site, two caves, female and male, form a single god. The cave god, reincarnated as a cascatelle, refreshes the atmosphere and watches over those who seek his protection. Ndemvo'h, which means "god of the cave", receives the rites of the faithful who come to purify themselves at his feet. The hilly terrain makes the visit seem like a short climb, with modern or stone-cut staircases leading to the male and female grottoes in turn, plunging the eye into a sea of beautiful hills.
