Rimski Most
Small Roman bridge of medieval or Ottoman origin, in the village of Stari Majdan, 10 km northwest of Sanski Most.
This small stone bridge in the village of Stari Majdan (10 km northwest of Sanski Most on the R404) is locally known as the "Roman Bridge" (Rimski Most). It is in fact a medieval or Ottoman structure. Its single arch spans the Gračanica River, 8.40 m long and 4.25 m wide. The structure is located next to a Serbian Orthodox church, burnt down in 1995 and rebuilt by Bosnian residents in 2015. The bridge itself was damaged by the heavy vehicles of the Canadian contingent of the Stabilization Force deployed here between 1995 and 2004.
