INTERNATIONAL PORTRAIT GALLERY

Founded in 1964, this national institution (Međunarodna Galerija Portreta) is devoted to portraiture since the 19th century. It contains 86 portraits of Tito, but also paintings, prints, drawings, sculptures and photographs of the country's leading artists, including a large collection of the great painter Ismet Mujezinović (1907-1984) who studied in Paris. Temporary exhibitions and concerts are held in his studio (Klosterska Street, 550 m east).
