MUSÉE DU SEL

Far from the city center, installed in an old factory, without English translation and open only by appointment, this museum (Muzej Solarstva) is still worth an effort. Created in 1975 in one of the sites of the Bosnian company Solana, it traces the history of salt in the Tuzla region since the Neolithic period. The collection is very rich: machines, a worker's overalls, plans, photographs, reproductions of the first extraction utensils, an old workshop... You can spend an hour there without worrying.
