IVO-ANDRIĆ MUSEUM
In the former school where the writer attended from 1898 to 1902, a reconstruction of an early classroom.
This museum (Spomen Učionica Ive Andrića/Спомен Учионица Иве Андрића) is located 450 m northeast of the Sokolović Bridge, just beyond the bridge over the Rzav River. It is housed in the building that was Ivo Andrić's (1892-1975) school from the age of 6 to 10. An early 20th-century classroom has been reconstructed and decorated with copies of photos taken by the writer. Next door is the municipal cultural center and a locomotive from the Šargan Eight. It's also possible to see where Andrić lived: a pink house on the left bank of the Drina.
