IVO-ANDRIĆ MUSEUM

Located next to the House of Culture and a steam locomotive of the "Šargan Eight", the "Ivo Andrić Classroom Memorial" (Spomen Učionica Ive Andrića/Спомен Учионица Иве Андрића) is housed in an 1892 building that was the school of Ivo Andrić (1892-1975) from the age of 6 to 10. A classroom from the early 20th century is reconstructed and decorated with reproductions of photos of Višegrad taken by the author of Bridge over the Drina. The house (pink in color) where the young Andrić lived at the time is located on the west bank of the Drina.
