Saborni Hram Svetog Preobraženja Gospodnjeg
Serbian Orthodox cathedral, 1908. Not very interesting.
Consecrated in 1908, this Serbian Orthodox cathedral (Saborni Hram Svetog Preobraženja Gospodnjeg/Саборни Храм Светог Преображења Господњег) is located in Jovan-Dučić Park, 200 m south of Plane Tree Square. It shares the seat of the Eparchy of Hum-Herzegovina with that of the Holy Trinity in Mostar. The architecture blends Romanesque, Gothic and Byzantine styles. The interior features frescoes dating from 2009, including a portrait of Serbian-born American engineer Nikola Tesla.
