Vodopad Provalije
The largest waterfall on the Bregava in Stolac. A restaurant and pizzeria with terrace next door.
The "precipice" waterfall (Vodopad Provalije) is the most beautiful on Bregava. It lies 900 m north-east of the clock tower. Here, the river leaps from a height of 7 m to a width of 50 m, with a magnificent crash. It's a superb spot to enjoy the view from the Ljetna Bašta Old Mill restaurant (right bank, downstream) or the Nota pizzeria (left bank, upstream). To the north of the village, above the Begovina villas and next to the Poplašić mill, the Bregava makes another beautiful waterfall, that of Pjene ("the mosses").
