This "bridge of obstinacy" (Inat Ćuprija) spans the Bregava River, 350 m northeast of the clock tower. It owes its name to the legend of a 17th-century quarrel between the client and the builder during construction. Vexed by the customer who didn't find the work symmetrical enough, the craftsman insisted on making it as asymmetrical as possible. The result is a bridge 26.80 m long, supported by five arches, almost all of them of different widths: 2.95 m, 3.10 m, 3.75 m, 2.90 m and 2.90 m.
