Džamija Hadži Alije Hadžisalihovića
Ottoman mosque destroyed in 1993 and rebuilt in 2010. Attractive tavillon roof and great location, next to the Inat bridge.
The mosque (Džamija Hadži Alije Hadžisalihovića), with its beautiful tavaillon roof, is a 2010 replica of a building destroyed in 1993. Also known as the "Bridge Mosque" (Ćuprijska Džamija), it is located along the Bregarva River, next to the Inat Bridge and 300 m northeast of the Clock Tower. The original late 16th-century mosque was renovated in the 18th century thanks to a gift from Hadži Alija Hadžisalihović, a Bosnian soldier from Stolac who died in Egypt in 1734. Dimensions: 10.34 x 12.37 m on each side, minaret 18 m high.
