Šišman Ibrahin-Pašina Hamam
Superb little hammam in the lower part of Počitelj. Not open to visitors. Jouxte a caravanserai bearing the same name.
This superb little hammam (Šišman Ibrahim-Pašina Hamam) welcomes you to the lower part of Počitelj. Built in the 17th century, it is topped by five lead-covered domes. Closed since the 19th century, it is named after local hero Šišman Ibrahim Pasha, an officer who died in Egypt in 1677. The mosque also bears this name, as does the caravanserai (han). The latter adjoins the hammam. Extensively refurbished, it houses a pretty... but not great restaurant.
