VINO BRKIĆ

This winery produces only organic wine. And it's our favorite in Herzegovina. It's 4.5 km northeast of Međugorje (22 km southwest of Mostar), in Čitluk, on the street opposite Hotel Brotnjo. While the blatina (red) and rosé are of average interest, the žilavkas (whites) are absolutely remarkable: great finesse, complex aromas and length on the palate unrivalled compared to the rest of the local production. Recently, the Brkić brothers have started offering on-site accommodation in a superb apartment with kitchen, terrace, spa and parking.
