CHURCH OF THE HOLY TRINITY OF BLAGAJ

This Catholic church (Crkva Presvetog Trojstva) was founded in 1908 and completed in 1933. Formerly the center of the parish of Blagaj (about fifteen municipalities south of Mostar), it was damaged by the 1992 bombings, then restored in 2014. With less than ten Catholic inhabitants today in Blagaj, it comes alive especially for the feast of the Holy Trinity. Since 2009, the center of the parish has been moved to the large modern church in Buna, near the fork in the road.
