Mitropolija
1910 neoclassical building housing the residence of the Serbian Orthodox metropolitan, the Serbian consulate and an ecclesiastical museum.
This 1910 neo-classical palace (Mitropolija/Митрополија) is the official residence of the Serbian Orthodox metropolitan (bishop) of Zahumlje-and-Herzegovina, but he has been based in Trebinje since 1992. It houses the Serbian consulate and, since 2025, a temporary museum displaying forty icons (15th-19th centuries) from the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity. It is located on the left bank, 300 m northeast of the Old Bridge, on Maršala-Tita Street, then on the right as you climb Konak Street. Its architect was Karel Pařík, who also designed Sarajevo's Vijećnica.
