Gradsko Kupatilo
Baths dating from 1914, recently restored but now closed. Stunning Art Nouveau façade with neoclassical and Arabic elements.
Located on the banks of the Neretva, these public baths (Gradsko Kupatilo) date back to 1914 and were renovated in 2010. Although they are currently closed, their Art Nouveau facade is well worth a visit: it incorporates Arabic elements, columns with Corinthian capitals and two peaceful lions, also inspired by Greek Antiquity. The establishment is located on the Left Bank, next to the Musala Bridge (dating from 1882), 1 km north of the Old Bridge or 350 m east of the Spanish Steps. Nearby: Roznamedži mosque (1620), former Razvitak department store and Hotel Neretva.
