Also known as the "Sniper Tower", this abandoned building is one of the most impressive ruins of the 1992-1994 siege of Mostar.

This 30-metre-high abandoned building (Staklena Banka) is one of the most impressive ruins of the 1992-1994 siege of Mostar. It is located to the north of Zrinjevac Park, just off Spanish Square. Built between 1987 and 1991, it was intended to house the Commercial Bank of Mostar. Instead, its ten storeys were used by Croatian forces to guard the Bulevar front line. It then became a target for the Bosnian army, and lost the glass walls that had earned it its nickname. Since then, it has been known as the "Sniper Tower".
