The local branch of the Institut français de Bosnie-Herzégovine (Francuski Institut) is located in Mostar-West, in a red house south of Zrinjevac Park, 400 m south-west of Spanish Square. It offers French courses for local residents and organizes activities throughout the year: concerts, film screenings, conferences... The two "pillars" of the French-speaking community in Mostar are Jasmina Zvonić, director of the branch, and Almira Grčić, from the Almira Travel agency.
