The summit of Mount Trebević reaches an altitude of 1,627 m, and is home to an imposing 60 m-high tower.

Reaching 1,627 m above sea level, the summit of Mount Trebević (Vrh Trebevića/Врх Требевића) offers splendid views of the region. Located in the municipality of Istočno Sarajevo, it is served by a winding road, but also by a trail about 6 km long. Several relay antennas dot the landscape. The most imposing, a 60-meter-high tower from 1975, stands just below the summit at 1,566 meters above sea level. During the siege of 1992-1996, it was captured by Bosnian-Serb forces who deprived Sarajevo of telephone connections.
