TÉLÉPHÉRIQUE DE SARAJEVO (STATION D’ARRIVÉE)

The arrival station of the cable car (Sarajevska Žičara) is located at an altitude of 1,160 m, 600 m as the crow flies south of the summit of Mount Trebević. The surroundings are landscaped with panoramic platforms offering the most beautiful views of Sarajevo. A path leads through the pines to the Pino Nature hotel-restaurant and the start of the former bobsled run. The arrival station is named after Ramo Biber, a cable car guard killed in 1992, in the early days of the siege.
