This unique emergency number corresponds to the Sarajevo Canton Police. The police are omnipresent in Sarajevo, but they only stop cars and show courteous and discreet signs with pedestrians. If, however, you stop with your car, try to verify the veracity of any wrongdoing committed, foreigners are easy prey… For everything else, the police will do everything possible to inform you with very Bosnian patience.
