BARHANA

We love this place. For its warm atmosphere in the evening, in winter, around the pizza oven, in summer for its small shaded terrace. For its food too, because the pizzas and local specialties (stuffed cabbage, chicken in paprika sauce...) are good and not expensive. But above all, for its list of 25 rakija, the local raki, declined with honey, cherry, plum or herbs (called in this case travarica). It has a little taste of forbidden, Barhana being one of the few establishments located in the perimeter of the mosque Gazi Hüsrev-Bey to serve alcohol.
