Pretty Russian church of St. Nicholas, with beautiful icons and frescoes inside, enhanced by the blue light of the stained glass windows.
With its blue stained-glass windows and red-orange-yellow facades, the Russian Church of St. Nicholas is very pretty. It can be seen from the Piazza. Built between 1865 and 1871, it is a clear testimony to the Russian architecture of the 19th century, which has shaped the Batumi of today. During the Soviet period, when Georgia was part of the USSR, the church ceased to function until 1998. Inside, there are beautiful icons and frescoes sublimated by the blue light of the stained glass windows.

Une église dont la façade est assez jolie. Sans être exceptionnel, on peut au moins jeter un coup d'oeil à l'intérieur.
