HOUSE MUSEUM OF ALEXANDER CHAVCHAVADZE

The village of Tsinandali is worth the trip to visit this superb estate. In the centre of a magnificent park stands the splendid residence of the Chavchavadze princes, a noble family from Kazakhstan, of which the poet Alexander Chavchavadze (1786-1846) was the most illustrious representative. This prince poet and warrior prince ran literary salons there, attracting the most brilliant minds of his time. He was also the instigator of the first wine estate in Georgia.
