Just after Kachvéti is the beautiful blue monument of the National Art Gallery, in the neoclassical style. The gallery is closed but must (perhaps) soon reopen its doors as art museum.

Right next door, the Hotel Tbilisi Marriott, at No. 13, is a superb building commanded by the Armenian merchant Mikhail Aramyants and built by Russian architect A. Ozerov.
