TIBLISI SEA

No, it's not a sea, it's an artificial reservoir. (Tbilissis Zrva). This one, behind the hills over which the modern districts of Tbilisi stretch, seems to be lost in the middle of the mountains. The heights of the Kartlie Mountains of the Greater Caucasus overhang it and give it a taste of the mountains. In the summer, Tbilisians flock here to bathe. You can reach it by going around the hill on the left, from Garichvilebi Street, the hill surmounted by the huge national history memorial. The lake is just behind it.
