This museum in the Artsrouni caravanserai reigned over a different atmosphere and was the most populated place in the whole city.

In the old days, the atmosphere was very different. The museum is housed in the Artsrouni caravanserai, the oldest in Tbilisi. It is said that since its construction in 1650 by King Rostom, it was the most populated place in the whole city; destroyed in 1795, it was rebuilt at the beginning of the 19th century. It had a spicy scent and people came here to get the latest news. You will go back two centuries to discover the daily life.
