TIBLISI SILK STATE MUSEUM

Tbilisi was a stopover on one of the famous Silk Roads linking the Far East to the West. This amazing museum, located in the historic Caucasus Silk Station, offers a comprehensive exhibition on the history of sericulture in Georgia. It is a massive 110-year-old building, specially created for the development of silk in Georgia. In the library are displayed 39,000 works published between the 17th and 20th centuries and in 26 languages .
