Historic cellar of the Hospices de Strasbourg, in existence since 1395, with the world's oldest wine in barrels
The historic cellar of the Hospices de Strasbourg dates back to 1395, and was used as early as the Middle Ages to store wine, grain and other perishable goods. 600 years later, it has retained its original function. The sumptuous vaulted cellar exalts the structure and aromas of wines stored in some fifty restored oak barrels and three historic foudres dating from 1472, 1519 and 1525. The oldest contains the oldest wine in barrels in the world!

La cave est sympa, je vous conseille de prendre l’audio guide qui est abordable. La visite doit durer en tout pas plus de 20min mais il y a des informations sympa à connaître !
La sélection de vin est plutôt bien et les vendeurs sont très gentils et disponible pour tous renseignements.

Visite très intéressante dans un endroit insolite un hôpital, très instructif avec un guide passionné. En fin de visite dégustation de 3 crus juste excellents.. je recommande ce visite
