After a collecting career that began in the early 1970s with Figuration Narrative, Jean-Pierre Ritsch-Fisch founded La Galerie in 1996, specializing in art brut and outsider art. Since 1999, the gallery has participated in major international art fairs and advised numerous French and foreign collectors. In 2022, Richard Solti became the gallery's new owner, while retaining its line and name. He continues to exhibit many internationally renowned artists.
