After a collecting career that began in the early 1970s with Figuration Narrative, Jean-Pierre Ritsch-Fisch founded La Galerie in 1996, specializing in art brut and outsider art. Since 1999, the gallery has taken part in major international art fairs, and since then has advised numerous French and foreign collectors. In 2022, Richard Solti became the gallery's new owner, while retaining its line and name. He continues to exhibit many internationally renowned artists.

A sister painter, a bookseller... From there was born L'Oiseau Rare, which combines the two for twice the pleasure! Art gallery, bookshop and café, this place combines Alsace, art, literature and paper in an exceptional setting. The house that houses it dates from the 16th century and offers a superb tree-lined courtyard. In the proposed paintings, we particularly appreciate the figure of the Alsatian woman, to be admired by leafing through a book, especially an Alsatian one since it is the specialty, and by tasting a hot drink. Thanks to a partnership with a local printing house, you can buy bookmarks, postcards and other unique small items.
