Since 1878, the SPA has been working for the protection of animals: it saves abandoned, injured and/or abused dogs and cats. The animals are restored and offered for adoption for a second chance. If you are serious and looking for a companion, if you are ready to give love to a little being, don't hesitate any more! For an honourable fee, residents are tattooed, vaccinated and sterilized. The site also serves as a relay for the GORNA (Ornithological Group of the North Alsace Region ✆ 03 88 01 48 00) and Noah's Ark (✆ 06 67 82 57 66). You can also adopt birds, hedgehogs, cattle, sheep or rabbits.

Le bâtiment est désormais derrière Ikea, facile à trouver. Difficile d'avoir des renseignements par téléphone. Des bénévoles retraitées qui aime peut être les animaux mais pas vraiment les humains. Me présentant dans le but d'adopter j'ai été mal reçue (j'ai expliqué que si aucun animal ne me correspondais je pourrais attendre, que je n'étais pas pressée, on m'a répondu "alors c'est pas la peine de venir, faut vous décider!"). Heureusement j'y ai trouvé un chat super dès cette première visite, sinon je n'y serais pas retournée!
the very difficult spa Strasbourg on the one hand, since it is ALWAYS STOPPED road that goes in Kehl! it is impossible to be parked without being made huez. then, people who take care of the animals are very pleasant with " gens": they me feel guilty maliciously because my dog had saved house, I not without noticing it suite. and then they show unwillingness for a lot of things: rarely open to the public, to give information by telephone, refuse to switch us when we want apporterun animal stray. ; in short, I hope that elsewhere employees of the SPA are more human, but in Strasbourg it is not the case! I also hope that animals receive good treatments.
