Sensory Isolation by Floating is a relaxation technique that consists in putting to rest a maximum of senses. The five well-known senses: sight, hearing, touch, smell and taste. But also other senses that we don't necessarily think of but which are very important such as the perception of temperature or the sense of balance. In order to put all these senses to rest, you are immersed in a Floatation Bubble, a sort of strange capsule the size of a small car, completely isolated from the outside world and filled with water saturated with Epsom salt. No light, no outside noise disturbs you. The very high salinity of the water (five times more than the Dead Sea) puts the body in a floating situation, as if in weightlessness! The body, thus freed from all constraints, relaxes. The muscles and joints relax as if you were floating in space. The brain, freed from the analysis of all the information it usually receives, can thus let go, daydream and meditate.
