N'Djamena is very proud of its cathedral, in the middle of the city, which nargue the minarets of the mosque at the top of its 55 m. In a modern and sober style with no great interest, the building was built during the colonial period and renovated under Hissène Habré. At the cathedral, Sunday mass is at 10 p. m.; it is quite solemn.
