FAYÇAL MOSQUE

In the heart of the districts, the mosque proudly draws its minarets from which speakers regularly invite flock to prayer. Dating back to the 1970 s, the building was subsidized, as in many other African countries, by King Faisal of Saudi Arabia. The mosque, without major interest, may be the subject of a visit outside the hours of prayer. However, a decent dress (long dress and compulsory dress for women) and an imam's authorization are required.
