One of the most emblematic buildings, located on the old market of the city. In the words of the mayor at its inauguration in June 2012, it represents "what the city was and what it wants to be". A multifunctional centre, dedicated to artistic and cultural activity. There is a large exhibition space of the collector José de Guimarães "Beyond History", passing through the worlds of anthropology (masks, costumes, fetish objects) and some more modernist notes borrowing works from the pop art movement.
