The originality of these wine cellars lies in the fact that they are carved out of blue granite, ideal for preserving wines. The Murganheira cellars offer an instructive tour of the history of the area and the production of sparkling wine from various Portuguese and foreign grape varieties. It takes around 25 minutes by car from Lamego to get there. The tour lasts an hour. At the end, you'll be tempted to buy one or more bottles to take home or give to friends and family.
