Located in the district of Guarda, the Casas da Ribeira are granite stone houses typical of the Serra da Estrela region, Portugal's most important mountain system. These houses have been rebuilt with all modern comforts while retaining their original charm and character. They are fully equipped, rented with linen and crockery, and all have a kitchenette or fitted kitchen. The Casas da Ribeira offer different types of accommodation, from studio to T3, for up to 8 people. Pets are welcome at no extra charge. At reception, staff are on hand to provide information on activities and sites to visit in the Serra da Estrela, depending on the season. Wi-Fi connection is available, and you can also enjoy a coffee while learning about the history of these houses and the village. The Casas da Ribeira won the Regions 2023 Five Star Award in the Rural Tourism category.
