The castle of Castelo de Vide, classified as a National Monument, offers a beautiful walk through the landscape and history.
The Castelo de Vide castle, of which very little remains, is a beautiful stroll through the landscape and history. In the 12th century, all the village's inhabitants lived within the walls of this edifice, erected in 1280 by King Denis. Some of them still do today. You'll find yourself well inside the fortified walls, in the narrow streets and houses that have changed little over the past eight centuries. From the dungeon, the view of the village and its gradations of red tiles is extraordinary.

Super panorama
Nul intérêt architectural pour ce château, rénové à pas mal d'endroits. Son seul point fort, c'est la vue du sommet du donjon,et comme c'est gratuit, autant en profiter !
