Right in the middle of the Praça do Municipio, a few meters from the pillory where we don't want you to be nailed, the Gingão has the only terrace on the main square of the village. On the menu, migas de espargos (asparagus), rolhinho de porco preto (wild boar), balachau a casa. If you are a bit broke, the snack bar just across the street offers good and cheap daily dishes for 6 €, on the same terrace. It is not uncommon that a few meters away, women sitting in the shade are weaving or embroidering the fabric of the Arraiolos rugs..
