On the road to Faro, between the cemetery and the train station, this 17th-century quinta, surrounded by greenery, offers 9 beautifully appointed outbuildings. A swimming pool surrounded by fruit trees and flower gardens and a tennis court are among the recreational facilities. In the past, the property was used as a farm, before the two daughters of the former owner decided to receive guests. The houses, named after flowers, exude serenity and are reminiscent of traditional Algarve housing. Good to know: the establishment also accepts your four-legged friends.

If it wasn't for our initial encounter/conversation with the person at the reception/owner? I'd give this place 4.5 stars. When we arrived at the check in, a seemingly grouchy/angry woman didnt even say hello or welcome, just barked out her request for our passport. When my husband explained to he had forgotten to pack our passports, but we had a copy of them. This women bevame agiated, waving her hands and slapping them for emphasis and quoted the laws. She continually berated us for forgetting them until I said we'd go elsewhere. We're adults 60+ yrs and having visited many European countries understand the law for visitors to carry passports at all times. It was an oversight on our part. We took great offense to her chastising behavior. She was relentless and it was a horrible way to be "greeted" for our one night stay. We had stayed elsewhere the previous evening and had no issue showing photos of our passports. The room was vintage sweet but the pladtic covered pillows difficult to sleep on. Breakfast staff were lovely kind amd attentive. Grounds beautiful. Quiet area as well as being close to town.

Eine idyllische Oase zum Wohlfühlen auf einem zauberhaften gepflegten Anwesen mit Orangenbaeumen und blühender Vegetation. Sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Inhaberinnen.
