Beaches on various Faro islands, easily accessible and supervised by lifeguards, a great family destination.
Faro's beaches are located on islands forming long strips of golden sand beyond the lagoon. These are the islands: Ilha do Faro, Ilha de Barreta (or Deserta) and Ilha do Farol. Easily accessible, you can take the ferry to reach them. To get to Ilha do Faro, you can take the car or the bus since it is connected to the mainland by a bridge with alternating traffic. The Praia de Faro is a popular family destination among the Portuguese, with the advantage of being supervised by lifeguards in the summer.

NOUS AVONS PRIS UN CAR POUR REJOINDRE LES PLAGES DE FARO. NOUS AVONS ETE DECU UNE FOIS PASSE LE PONT POUR REJOINDRE LA PLAGE CAR PAS DE COMMERCES A PART QUELQUES RESTAURANTS. LA PLAGE EST TRES LONGUE AVEC DU SABLE MAIS L'ENSEMBLE EST TRES TRISTE. TOUT AU BOUT DE LA PLAGE NOUS AVONS DECOUVERT OU SE TROUVE ENCORE LES HABITATIONS DES PECHEURS ET LA AUSSI C'EST TRISTE

Site enchanteur du Parc de Ria Formosa à Praya de Faro
Si vous aimez marcher dans un milieu naturel, rien de mieux que de se rendre au Parc naturel de Ria Formosa et observer à loisir les nombreuses espèces d'oiseaux qui peuplent le lieu. On peut suivre ce lagon côtier sur plusieurs kilomètres et ensuite se rendre sur l'immense Plage de Faro en traversant un petit pont. On peut faire le tout à pied mais prévoir plusieurs heures pour bien s'imprégner des lieux.

Immense plage de sable à proximité de Faro. Se trouve en borbure de marais salants ou l'on peut à l'occasion observer des flamants roses.

Magnifique ile préservée dans le parc national de ria formosa. Plein d'oiseaux, plages magnifiques, désertes. Pas possible de rester le soir, mais belle ballade en journée depuis Faro.
