Located in an old historic fort dating from 1670 on the rocks overlooking the beach, this building is one of the last vestiges of that era. This restaurant is run by a Frenchman who has been a fan of the area for years. An idyllic setting for lunch in the garden during the "jazz lunch" or dinner in the guards' room, in a magical atmosphere with a medieval fireplace. The Portuguese gastronomy is honored: cataplana, cod fillet, monkfish and fish of the day from the local market, good wines, without forgetting the irresistible homemade ice cream.

Nous avons aimé les plats que nous avons commandé. Nous sommes cependant déçu du menu. Je m'attendais à une plus grande variété d'options et à des plats typiques portugais. L'endroit est très joli, la vie sur la mer est magnifique. Le personnel est très attentionné et aimable, mais ce sont des caractéristiques qu'on trouve souvent au Portugal.

Une belle adresse, le site est historique et magnifique, les plats sont bien cuisinés. Tres bon rapport qualité - prix. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.
