On the first floor of a villa, in a warm space with a family atmosphere, an entirely homemade kitchen executed with care in the tradition of the region with fresh products. Miguel, the owner of the place, will welcome you with open arms in French. His main concern is that his dishes reflect the flavor of the ingredients. The regional dishes are cooked in the stone oven and in the wood oven like the famous "cozido" Portuguese style. The bread is also homemade and wood-fired. An excellent quality-price ratio that is worth the detour.

J'ai adoré manger à la Marmita Do Ze Grande. Leur accueil m'a fait sentir comme à la maison. Je conseille chaleureusement ce restaurant à Batalha.
