Traces of dinosaur footprints in the Serra de Aire, including examples of sauropod footprints in excellent condition.
15 km from Fatima, this natural monument of dinosaur footprints in the Serra de Aire has some of the best examples of sauropod footprints (herbivorous dinosaurs), which lived 175 million years ago in the Jurassic period, when they dominated the planet. In excellent condition on a rocky surface of 60,000 m², there are several hundred tracks, spread out over about twenty tracks. Two of them are 142 m and 147 m long.
